SMS Terms & Opt-Out

What You’ll Receive

If you opt in to SMS notifications, Suzy will send text messages to the phone number you've enrolled for:

• Reminders for tasks you've created or been assigned.
• Reminders ahead of important dates (birthdays, anniversaries, renewals) at the lead times you've configured.
• Household notifications (e.g. when another household member assigns a task to you).

We do not send marketing, promotional, or third-party messages via SMS.

Message Frequency

Frequency varies based on your tasks and settings. A typical user receives a few messages per week, occasionally more around deadlines or shared household events. You can adjust which notification kinds trigger SMS in Settings → Connections → Push notifications.

Standard Rates Apply

Message and data rates may apply per your mobile carrier's plan. Suzy does not charge you for SMS; your carrier may.

How to Opt Out

You can opt out of Suzy SMS at any time, two ways:

1. Reply STOPto any Suzy SMS. We'll confirm and immediately stop sending. To resume, reply START.
2. Open the app → Settings → Connections → Push notifications, and disable the SMS toggle. Takes effect immediately.

Opt-out applies to all Suzy SMS for that phone number. If you re-enroll later, you're opting back in.

Consent at Signup

When you provide a phone number during signup or in your profile, you consent to receive transactional SMS from Suzy at that number for the purposes listed above. Consent is not a condition of using Suzy — you can use the app with push and email only.

Who Delivers Our Messages

We use Twilio as our SMS transport. Twilio acts as a processor on our behalf and accesses only the data necessary to deliver the message. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number, opt-in status, or message content with any other party.
